About
Why this exists
Bibliometric studies are judged on their corpus. Yet the export everyone starts from is full of holes that no reviewer sees and no author mentions: documents with no identifier, venues left blank, affiliations that stop at the institution name, references that are free text.
Cleaning them by hand does not scale, and cleaning them with a script that decides on your behalf produces a corpus nobody can account for. Bibliominer takes the third path: it shows you what is wrong, proposes what it can justify, and records every decision, yours and its own.

How to cite
If Bibliominer contributed to a published corpus, citing it lets a reader reproduce the preparation : which is the point of the cleaning report it ships with.
